How to Program the DCI401 remote to the Box

In order to pair the remote to the DCI401 box you simply need to press and hold the red power button for 3 seconds. A 3-digit number should appear on the screen. Enter the shown number with the remote and it will pair with the DCI401 box.

How to Program the DCI401 Remote to TVs

  1. Press and hold the 1 and 6 button on the remote for 3 seconds. The red LED on the remote will be solid
  2. Enter the 4-digit code. If the Code you are using is only 3 numbers then start it with the number 0. Each number pressed should cause the red LED to blink
  3. The LED will blink twice after the code has successfully been entered. The following codes are for the most common TV’s you will encounter

How to Update DCI401 Boxes:

  • If you need to update the DCI401 boxes, first visit the Technicolor website or the Groove server (coming soon) and get the latest firmware. Once you have the latest firmware, transfer the file to the computer that will be connected to the Com. 
  • Once the file is in place, log into the Com and navigate to the “PairingInfo” page. From here, click on “Choose File”, located under “Browser Upload.” Select the update file and click “Open”, followed by “Upload.”omake sure that “0 = Download Now” is selected in the “Message Type” field. 
  • Paste the filename that you copied into the “Filename” field on the 401 tab. Click “Submit” at the top of the page and the update will be sent out to all DCI401 boxes that are connected to the Com system’s distribution.

How to Access the DCI401 Hidden Menu

In order to access the hidden installer menu on a DCI401 box perform the following steps:

  1. Press the menu button to open the DCI401 Menu
  2. On the DCI401 remote press 7,5,3,0,9
