Programing the VSBB100 Remote
Getting Into the VSBB100 Installer Menu
- Once the VSBB100 has been powered on wait for the boot animation to reach 100%. From here you will be on a plain black screen.
- Using the VSBB100 remote press 5,0,1,1,6,0,2,OK this will open the Installer Menu.
Setting Up the VSBB100 For Offline Mode
– Once you have opened the Installer menu you will have the following options:
1. Room Number
2. Offline Mode
3. Diagnostics
4. Channel Plan
5. Reboot
6. Factory Default
– Select Offline mode and then enable Local Mode. Once you enable this the following options will appear:
1. Installer Code
2. Channel Lineup
3. Time Settings
4. VSBB Parameters
5. IP Control Server
6. Channel Plan Source
– Select Channel Lineup and you will have more options:
1. Import Plan
2. Export Plan
3. QAM Scan
4. Multicast
5. Start Channel
Selecting QAM scan will cause the VSBB100 to scan for RF channels on your coax. Once it has finished don’t forget to save the scanned channels or you will need to scan again.
